The role
Role overview
Greenarc Fuel Cards is looking for an ambitious graduate who wants to begin their career at the centre of AI and modern business technology.
This is not a traditional graduate IT role or a fixed rotation programme. You will work directly with our Director across AI, automation, software, data, CRM, APIs and live technology projects. You do not need to arrive as an AI expert; we do expect curiosity, independent experimentation and the ambition to take on responsibility quickly.
Your contribution
Key responsibilities
- Test AI agents, conversations and automated workflows, analysing where they perform well and where they do not.
- Learn how prompts, knowledge, retrieval-augmented generation, tools, APIs and business data shape AI performance.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to prototype ideas and automations, and research practical emerging capabilities for Greenarc.
- Help improve Greenarc's CRM and internal applications while learning how systems communicate through APIs and integrations.
- Investigate technology and data problems and translate business requirements into potential solutions.
- Work with operational and commercial data, building SQL skills and learning to query relational databases.
- Investigate data-quality issues, support dashboards and management reporting, and use analytical tools to understand complex datasets.
- Support live projects from research and requirements through testing, feedback and release, working with developers and technology suppliers.
About you
Skills and experience
- A recent graduate or final-year student from a technical, analytical or business-technology discipline.
- A genuine interest in AI and emerging technology, with evidence of independent curiosity and experimentation.
- A naturally analytical approach and the motivation to work through difficult problems.
- The ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly and take ownership.
- Confidence working with data and numbers.
- Energy, resilience and a willingness to challenge existing approaches constructively.
- Useful but not essential: experience with AI tools, personal software or automation projects, basic programming, SQL, APIs, databases, GitHub or web development.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile or practical examples are welcome; personal projects and self-taught experience count.
